I had an exceptional experience at Boat Hotel Matylda. The location on the river was stunning and just a short distance from the main sites in Prague. I stayed in one of the largest rooms, and it was spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast served in the restaurant on the boat was superb, offering a great variety of choices. I highly recommend this lovely hotel for a fantastic stay in Prague.

Great atmosphere on the ship, very comfortable and clean accommodation, absolutely friendly staff. Breakfast is plentiful and very good with a great view over the Vltava River to the Prague Castle. Ingenious starting point for sightseeing. Absolutely recommended. Traffic calmer than expected
You can hear the water pumps a little bit, but this is unavoidable on a ship. For the great atmosphere we gladly accept this.

I had a fantastic stay at Boat Hotel Matylda! The location was perfect, with easy access to the Old Town and public transportation. The room had an amazing river view and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The shower was powerful, although a bit small. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was a nice touch to be able to have breakfast in the room. Despite a few minor issues mentioned in other reviews, overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Unpretentious luxury a few inches from the ducks, coots, seabirds and swans. Opening windows with great views riverside. Good showers and minibar. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant very popular and good local cuisine also available nearby. Together with its neighbour Klotylda a fantastic experience!
A couple more pillows. Otherwise no comments, it was perfect. Thanks.

boat hotel matylda in prague exceeded my expectations with its prime location along the riverfront, offering a romantic and buzzing atmosphere. The welcoming reception area and helpful staff made my stay pleasurable, guiding me on must-visit day tours. Perfect for a peaceful break with comfortable rooms, clean en-suite bathrooms, and a delicious takeaway breakfast.

This hotel was fantastic! The hotel is actually two boats that are docked on the river about 1.3km from Charles Bridge. Very romantic hotel for a couples weekend getaway! Breakfast was good, as well. The executive double room has nice views of the river, which was very relaxing to hear the river as you fall asleep and then wake up to the next morning! It was just an absolutely beautiful place to stay! My husband and I plan on staying there again!
Not that this was bad for us, but the shower stall has rather small. If you are a large person, it may not work for you!

Charming, cosy rooms. Very clean and good facilities.
The GPS coordinates provided were inaccurate so when I called them for exact location, they were unable to give a nearby street address. It resulted in me driving around a few times. They should be able to provide an accurate street address for guests who are driving in. Also at the time of check in they promised us a room by 12:00 but at 11:30, they changed their mind. Although check out time on the booking said 12:00, they insisted we needed to check out by 11:00. Staff was not very helpful.

3rd time in Prague, but Boat Hotel Matylda was a completely different experience. The design exceeded my expectations with a modern bathroom and a quiet night. The restaurant was not a tourist trap, but the food and staff were excellent. Highly recommend for a unique and short stay.

we had the junior suite (room no. 13 at the bow of the ship with small "balcony") which is really nice and quite large with couch and desk. central location and only a few minutes to the karls bridge and other sights. subway is also only a few hundred meters away. nice and helpful staff and good italian restaurant but a little bit expensive. free parking below the bridge (pick up parking permission at the reception!).
bathroom on the small side, no hairdryer in the bathroom (didn't care to ask at the reception anyway). breakfast too small for all the people (at least if you show up rather at the end of breakfast time).
